You get a referral code the moment you register. Anyone who signs up through it is tied to you for life.

They complete a real trade

A verified signup is a new account that finishes at least one $10+ trade with someone other than you. Rejected, expired, cancelled and disputed trades do not count.

You earn 10% of the fee

Commission is 10% of LocalCoinSwap’s platform fee, paid in Bitcoin. If both sides of a trade used your link, you earn 20% of that fee.

How we keep the numbers honest

Commission, tiers and prizes only count real traders. Four rules decide what makes the board.

Verified signup

New account through your link, never held an LCS account before, and completed one $10+ trade with a third party.

Qualifying volume

USD value of completed trades by your referred users this calendar month. Cancelled, expired, rejected and disputed trades do not count.

No self-trading

Trades where you are the counterparty do not count toward volume or verified signups.

Interviews for paid tiers

Ambassador and Local Legend require an interview. That is the cheapest check before event budgets and retainers.

Commission, tiers, and what we actually pay for.

The 10% Bitcoin commission is the same program you already know. The Ambassador Program adds named tiers, public listing, and fixed rewards for people who do community work — running a group, walking a new trader through escrow, being known locally. Large vendors do not climb into extra commission just by trading more.

You receive 10% of LocalCoinSwap’s platform fee when a referred user completes a trade, paid in Bitcoin. If you referred both the buyer and the seller, you receive 20% of that fee. Payouts are opt-in and sent to the Bitcoin address on your referral dashboard.

A new person who registered through your referral link, never held a LocalCoinSwap account before, and completed at least one trade of $10 or more with someone other than you. The count is cumulative for life.

Hit the cumulative signup count and that month’s qualifying volume, then complete an interview. Local Legend also has monthly KPIs: content, community activity, profile branding, live sessions, and a biweekly report. One missed month keeps the title without the retainer; two consecutive misses drops a tier. Signup counts are never lost.

The $200 retainer is paid at month end only if all six KPIs were met, and only after one full clean month. Event budget (up to $500/quarter) needs an itemised proposal approved in advance. Travel is one approved conference trip per year, up to $1,000. These are not automatic and are not a higher cut of existing trade volume.
